My name is Cathy and I moved to Tenerife with my family in August 2003.
I have worked in the Care Industry since the early 80's and during this time have gained a fantastic amount of experience, working with people of all ages and nationalities.
Initially working in a various Residential homes in County Durham and Yorkshire before ending up working on the Community with Leeds Social Services until we left the UK to make our new life here in Tenerife, I have thoroughly enjoyed working in this field.
Although I haven't worked full time as a carer since we arrived here, I have looked after a number of clients, both young and old, residents and holiday makers. Sometimes providing respite care for their normal Carer.
I regularly have people asking me for advice and assistance with friends or relatives and it always reminds me just what a difference the right kind of care can make to someone's lifestyle
